President Trump built everything up so well during his time. After his term ended, America was thrown into chaos. Gas prices are rising, and our economy is in bad shape!
The current administration is leading us to further economic failure. With Joe Biden’s weak leadership, we’re heading towards more inflation.
Biden inherited a healthy economy. Our country was energy independent and was exporting a lot. But when he became president, these things quickly disappeared. The administration implemented terrible plans that increased inflation all around us.
It is not surprising why gas prices have been increasing more than ever. The Biden administration is leading America downhill…
Republicans Demand Answers on Lower Energy Production
Our patriot leaders on the House Committee on Energy and Commerce believe that the administration is the cause of the diminishing energy production.
Republican Reps. Cathay McMorris and Fred Upton wrote a letter to Department of Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm to express their concern. They are seeking answers from the DOE Secretary… on how she plans to backfill the SPR exported to foreign countries.
The leaders believe that the DOE is hiding something from us. They wrote, “We are concerned that DOE is depleting petroleum reserves. [They are also] failing to establish long-term plans for the [reserves’] operational capabilities.”
They also think that sooner or later, China will be the one dominating the oil market. The leaders said, “As a result, China may now control the world’s largest [oil stockpile]… with total crude inventories estimated at 950 million barrels.”
Then they added, “[DOE must] maintain the nation’s petroleum reserves. [It should be done] in a manner that does not limit our ability to reduce the impacts of energy supply shortages.”
McMorris and Upton demanded the DOE Secretary answer several questions on SPR policy.
What Happened to Our Energy Independence?
Tucker Carlson believes that the price of US gas is a catastrophe. Carlson wrote on Fox, “The [gas price] in America now qualifies as a catastrophe. That’s true. No matter how you feel about carbon emissions… you still probably assumed you’d be able to afford to drive to work every day.”
Then he added, “But now you can’t, and gas prices are [why] you can’t. Nothing makes the country poorer faster than rising energy prices.”
Right now, the administration is spreading the blame around on the rising gas prices. This is because they don’t have a plan to handle the situation themselves.
Rep. Markwayne Mullin shared his thoughts on Newsmax. He said, “It’s hilarious when he sits there, he says, ‘It’s [Vladimir] Putin’s gas prices,’ when we’re energy independent, or we could be.”
Then Mullin said that everything was much better when we were under President Trump. He added, “We were underneath President Trump. We hadn’t increased our footprint with petroleum and crude imports from Russia by 40%. We were controlling the market.”
With all the chaos in the energy industry, one thing is for sure…
The Biden administration is nowhere near as capable as the Trump administration. Maybe if President Trump was still seated right now, things will be different.
